The inaugural session of RCHN CHF’s new live webinar series. Dr. Geiger discusses  his recent co-authored New England Journal of Medicine article, “Health Care Reform and Primary Care – The Growing Importance of the Community Health Center”, which explores national health care reform and the expansion of community health centers (CHCs) to serve nearly 20 million new patients as part of an emphasis on accessible primary care. The presenters review the history of CHCs and the potential for establishing the “Patient-Centered Medical Home” model in CHCs, and as a model of comprehensive, high quality primary care for all Americans.

Presented by:

  • H. Jack Geiger, MD, MSc – Medical Professor Emeritus
  • Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education – The City College of New York
