Founded by health center leadership in 2000, CHV helps our nation’s community health centers operate more efficiently by providing unique, health-center focused purchasing and business programs.  By obtaining better products, pricing, contractual terms and services for community health centers, CHV creates practical solutions to the tremendous economic pressures facing today’s CHCs. The RCHN Community Health Foundation and NACHC share the objective of fostering the ability of CHCs to provide essential services to their patients in a cost-effective manner, and the Foundation has invested in CHV to enable it to expand the endeavors it undertakes for the benefit of CHCs.

Value in Purchasing (ViP), the only national group purchasing program endorsed by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), which negotiates group-purchasing agreements at preferred rates for medical, dental and office supplies, and for capital equipment. These agreements allow health centers to leverage their buying power, and create savings that can be reinvested to support health center operations;

Value in Staffing, the only national staffing program created under the direction of health center leadership to offer a  variety of workforce solutions for recruitment of  physician, dentist and mid-level clinicians in a time of tremendous patient growth. Value in Lab, a collaboration between Laboratory Corporation of American (Lab Corp), the Texas Association of Community Health Centers (TACHC) to offer extensive discounted lab services;

Value in Benefits (VIB)- ViB will leverage the collective purchasing power of health centers to offer various benefit solutions and insurance products. CHV is currently piloting ViB with the intent of expanding the program.
