Readiness Survey for Meaningful Use & Patient Centered Medical Home – Now Underway

At present, there is incomplete information about the status of health centers with respect to Electronic Health Record (EHR) adoption, readiness to meet the standards for Meaningful Use (MU) of Health Information Technology (HIT) and achieving Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition. To address this knowledge gap, the Geiger Gibson Program at George Washington University (GWU) has developed a brief 10-12 minute online Readiness Survey in partnership with NACHC and in consultation with leaders of selected Primary Care Associations (PCAs), Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs), the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, the National Center for Health in Public Housing and the National Center for Farmworker Health.

All health centers have been invited to complete this brief online survey prior to the holidays. Centers are able to share their responses with their PCA and/or the applicable national special population organization which can offer additional TA and training in the areas that you identify. Click below to see and download a “Reference Only” copy of the survey. Note: the actual survey can ONLY be completed online using the unique link provided to each health center. For any questions, feel free to contact Merle Cunningham MD MPH, Principal Investigator, at merlec@gwu.edu. You may also contact your PCA for advice and questions.
