National Health Center Week (NCHW), August 7-13, 2011 recognizes the significant contributions of our nation’s community health centers over 45 years, and the role they play in providing affordable, high quality, cost-effective health care to all people, regardless of ability to pay.

This year’s NHCW theme, “Celebrating America’s Health Centers: Serving Locally, Leading Nationally” highlights the achievements of the community, migrant, homeless and public housing health centers who together serve more than 20 million people in urban and rural communities across the country.

We are proud to be a NCHW partner organization. We thank The National Association of Community Health Centers for their leadership and sponsorship of the week’s activities and applaud the crucial work of our health center colleagues, working in their communities across the country, to provide health care access for all.

Details on NHCW activities and events are available at National Health Center Week 2011
