RCHN Community Health Foundation is a sponsor of National Health IT Week, September 16-20, 2013. Joining with other organizations  across the county, RCHN CHF will recognize the important role health information technology plays in advancing quality and improving healthcare delivery.

Comprehensive health care reform is possible only with the  system-wide adoption of health information technology, which improves the quality of healthcare delivery, increases patient safety, decreases medical errors, and strengthens the interaction between patients and healthcare providers. The NHIT Week theme, “One Voice, One Vision: Transforming Health and Care” speaks to the transformative qualities of HIT in improving health care. Our participation in National Health IT Week highlights our interest in ensuring that health information technology is integrated, interactive, interoperable, and outcome oriented, and our commitment to advancing the needs of community health centers for relevant, sophisticated, and cost-effective HIT applications and services so that they can best serve their patients and communities.

We hope that you’ll join us, and participate in the Capitol Hill Health IT Showcases House & Senate, taking place September 17-18.
