Founded by Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the Institute for e-Health Policy in 2006, National Health IT Week is a nationwide  collaborative forum offering healthcare stakeholders an opportunity to showcase the vital role of health information technology (HIT) and focus on creating actionable change within the U.S healthcare system.

This year’s theme, ‘The Value of Health IT’ focuses on ensuring the value in four key areas:

  • Supporting Healthcare Transformation
  • Expanding Access to High Quality Healthcare
  • Increasing Economic Opportunity
  • Making Communities Healthier

The RCHN Community Health Foundation is proud to once again be a sponsor of National Health IT Week. We encourage you to visit our Technology in Focus webpage to learn more about our research, reports, presentations, and our commitment to supporting and advancing the using of information technology, data, and analytics by community health centers to improve access and care outcomes.

Local partner-driven NHIT events focusing on the benefits health information technology can bring to U.S. healthcare are occurring across the U.S. and through virtual web-based activities. A full list of National Health IT events can be found here
