A recent in depth study of Medicaid delivery system and payment reform demonstrations in Massachusetts and New York concluded that a strong working partnership between Medicaid and community health centers will prove central to successful reform. The presenters provided an overview of MA and NY Medicaid Delivery and Payment Reform (DSRIP) goals, focused on community health center and primary care association participation, experience and leadership and provided insights for other states and national policymakers involved in the effort to attain deep and lasting health care delivery transformation.

Speakers included study co-authors Sara Rosenbaum, J.D., Harold and Jane Hirsh Professor of Health Law and Policy, the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University and Vikki Wachino, Principal, Viaduct Consulting. They were joined by Rose Duhan, President and CEO, Community Health Center Association of New York State and Kaitlin McColgan, Vice President, Government Affairs & Public Policy, Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers.
